Meet Meryl Swidler
Meryl Swidler is a third-degree black belt, international kickboxer, and proud member of Team USA. A bronze medalist at the WAKO Pan American Championships, she continues to train relentlessly with her sights set on returning to the world stage. Beyond competition, Meryl is a Certified Athletic Trainer with Northwestern Medicine, serves on the WAKO USA Board, and represents athletes worldwide through the WAKO International Athlete’s Committee.
Her drive extends beyond the mat—whether through her work in sports medicine, governance, or media projects like Kickin’ It and the Sport Kickboxing Network. Resilient, determined, and inspiring, Meryl embodies the spirit of Genuine Valor both in and out of the ring.
